A Birmingham firm developing cleaner car engines is set to bid for funding in a Dragon’s Den event in the West Midlands.
Aeristech Limited, based at the Millennium Point building, will be one of three companies trying to persuade potential backers to invest in the firm during the event at the University of Worcester.
The firm is developing turbocharger technology to reduce vehicle CO2 emissions and is looking to raise a further £100,000 of equity to complement £250,000 already raised through equity and grants.
The free event, sponsorsed by Advantage West Midlands, will be preceded by an equity entrepreneur workshop for any would-be angels interested in investing in unquoted companies.
The event runs from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday February 6, at the University of Worcester, Henwick Grove, Worcester WR2 6AJ.
